A campaign name is required.
This uses the official World Handicap System (WHS) formula:
Score Differential = (113 ÷ Slope Rating) × (Score − Course Rating)
Your Handicap Index is the average of your best score differentials from your most recent rounds (rated rounds only — ones with both a course rating and a slope entered). The fewer rounds you have, the fewer differentials are averaged, per the official sliding scale (from just your single best round with 3-5 rounds played, up to the best 8 of your most recent 20 once you have 20+).
Two simplifications, since this app only tracks a single 18-hole score per round:
